Harry’s parents, James and Lily Potter, were murdered by the evil Lord Voldemort. The evil lord had put a killing curse on Harry, when he was just a baby, after killing his parents. One day, before Harry was just about to celebrate his eleventh birthday, a sequence of events start to unfold.

First, an owl tries to deliver a mysterious letter to Harry, and this leads Harry into meeting a giant man who was named Hagrid. It is Hagrid, the giant who explains to Harry his history. Harry gets to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The principal of the school is a great wizard and is known as Albus Dumbledore. As Harry’s school years get underway, he notices that Snape, his portions professor, does not like him. It is during his school years that Harry discovers that he is a wizard.

During Harry’s first flying lesson on broomsticks, a fellow student named Malfoy throws a ball in the air. Harry speeds downwards and makes a spectacular catch. I got emotional when I thought about Dumbledore calling Voldemort “Tom”. Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself. How bout them ????
